“Senior Yun!”

Huang Xiu, not one to be foolish or slow-witted, was the first to break the silence. She naturally discerned that Yun Ning was speechless, stunned by her new appearance.

Though a blush warmed her cheeks, the day’s effective desensitization training with Senior Female Student Ji allowed Huang Xiu to barely rein in her emotions.

“Ah, my apologies,” Yun Ning stammered, rubbing the back of his head with an embarrassed grin. He truly felt awkward about his reaction.

“What’s that thing on your foot?” Huang Xiu deftly steered the conversation.

“This?” Yun Ning lifted his right leg, the heavy metallic ring around his ankle resting on the top of his foot.

“Yes, that’s it!”

“It’s a weighted training ring with adjustable mass,” Yun Ning explained to Huang Xiu. “Our physical capabilities are simply too potent; most standard exercise equipment offers little challenge. So, we typically wear these during training.”

“It’s inscribed with a Void Art, allowing its weight to be adjusted anywhere from 0.1 kilograms to 100 kilograms.”

“What exactly is a Void Art?” Huang Xiu asked, placing her bag on the sofa, her face alight with curiosity. She had heard of Void Arts before but never had the chance to inquire. Now, with an opportunity presenting itself, her curiosity surged to the forefront.

“Well, how to put it… you could think of Void Arts as humanity’s imitation of supernatural abilities,” Yun Ning mused, slowly recounting what his teacher had explained in class.

“Every Void Art is a simplified derivative of a supernatural ability.”

“We Awakened individuals, depending on the nature of our unique abilities, often combine them with various Void Arts to ultimately forge our own distinct combat systems.”

This knowledge was typically reserved for students who had already entered Tiandu University, but since Huang Xiu had asked, he decided to explain it to her in advance.

Huang Xiu listened intently, nodding thoughtfully, and quickly grasped a general understanding of Void Arts.

First, Awakened individuals progress through six stages: Awakening, Quicksilver, Gold, Turbid World, Starforged, and Transcendent. Huang Xiu herself was currently in the Quicksilver Stage. At this level, by employing a cultivation method known as the Forging Method, an Awakened individual could form what was called a ‘chakra’ upon the ocean of Void Energy. Void Arts, in turn, were inscribed within these chakras. A Quicksilver Stage chakra could only imprint two Void Arts, while a Gold Stage chakra could accommodate three…

For an Awakened individual to synergize their unique ability with Void Arts and construct a complete tactical system, they generally needed to reach the Gold Stage. Some abilities, particularly those with severe imbalances, might not even form a complete combat system until the Turbid World Stage.

“‘So, the Forging Method can enhance Void Energy…’” Huang Xiu mused, her interest piqued by this technique that could elevate Void Energy and allow Awakened individuals to advance through stages.

After all, from Senior Yun’s description, the Forging Method sounded precisely like an ancient martial arts manual or a cultivation secret technique. However, the Forging Method was, universally, a closely guarded secret. In ancient sects, it would have been a forbidden art, accessible only to true disciples.

Before the establishment of Tiandu University, it was exceedingly difficult for ordinary Awakened individuals to obtain a Forging Method. Now, however, merely passing the entrance exam to Tiandu University granted Awakened students the freedom to choose and cultivate any Forging Method.

As soon as Yun Ning finished speaking, eager to shower, he hastily retreated to his room. Huang Xiu likewise returned to her own. The moment she opened her door, a green, unidentified blob flew out from within.

She sidestepped, and the green object landed in the living room, bouncing with a *splat* on the carpet.

“Master, you’re finally back!” Huang Xiaoxian scrambled up from the floor.

It had woken up to an empty room, almost believing it had been abandoned once more. Living alone, separated from its master—that was an experience it never wished to repeat.

“Help me bring in my clothes!”

If she hadn’t dodged, she would have been pricked by its spines.

“Alrighty!”

Huang Xiaoxian, now fully invigorated, scampered off enthusiastically to help with the clothes.

Though she had asked it for help, Huang Xiu ended up retrieving everything herself. With its tiny legs and minuscule arms, there was no telling when Huang Xiaoxian would have finished.

Locking the door, Huang Xiu glanced at the time displayed on the television. It wasn’t as early as she thought; past eight o’clock, she decided it was time for bed.

‘Still… perhaps a shower before bed?’ Huang Xiu mused to herself.

Having just seen Yun Ning head off to shower, a similar urge stirred within her.

Even though she hadn’t sweated and didn’t smell, the thought of not washing her body and hair left her feeling oddly unsettled.

‘Well, I’m a girl now anyway; I can’t go my whole life without showering, can I? This can be considered a rehearsal!’ Huang Xiu pumped herself up, then, with trembling, excited hands, selected a set of clothes from the paper bag.

Each room in the presidential suite boasted its own private bathroom. This, she had to admit, was an excellent design. Otherwise, if Huang Xiu had to venture to the living room or the master bedroom to use a shared bathroom, she likely wouldn’t have showered for days.

Clutching her clothes, she entered the bathroom. After approximately ten minutes, Huang Xiu emerged, her face flushed crimson.

‘How utterly mortifying,’ she thought.

Although it was her own body, this was the first time she had truly confronted herself, unadorned.

This physique, having undergone the Quicksilver Stage’s physical completion, was so flawless it seemed to have stepped right out of an anime.

Her abdomen was perfectly toned, without a hint of excess flesh, and her breasts were beautifully formed and uplifted. There wasn’t a single blemish or imperfection anywhere.

Honestly, if her girlfriend looked like this, Huang Xiu would likely wake up smiling in her dreams. Yet, now that *she* had become this, it only brought a wave of melancholy.

‘Ugh!’ she sighed inwardly, a pang of frustration accompanying her. Huang Xiu, still feeling a blush of shame, shuffled back to the bed and sat down.

She was clad only in underwear and a short-sleeved top, having forgone pants.

Her two long, slender, fair legs, paired with white underwear, presented a breathtaking sight capable of dazzling anyone.

Unfortunately, there was no one in the room to appreciate this exquisite scene, not even Huang Xiaoxian. Huang Xiu had, in fact, ordered it to obediently burrow into a flowerpot and sleep before she even stepped into the shower.

Huang Xiu’s hair was still damp; she had only towel-dried it, opting not to use a hairdryer. Tiny droplets of water accumulated at the ends of her strands before falling, creating small, moist circles on the duvet.

Lifting her right leg, she gently placed her foot on the bed, resting her head on her knee. Her left hand idly caressed the inside of her thigh.

Huang Xiu’s gaze seemed unfocused.

When she was a mischievous child, she had once sustained a significant gash in that very spot from a piece of sheet metal. Though it had healed, a faint scar remained. Yet… while showering just now, she had suddenly discovered that the scar was gone, as if it had never existed.

Huang Xiu then examined herself further, realizing that not only had the scar vanished, but some moles she had possessed on her male body were also gone.

Aside from a slight resemblance in her brows and eyes to her former male self, this body was entirely different. So different, in fact, that Huang Xiu felt a sense of unfamiliarity, as if her soul and flesh were inexplicably disconnected.

‘Is this truly my body?’ she wondered idly, before suddenly pinching the soft flesh of her thigh.

A sharp, intense pain instantly made the girl’s body flinch, her eyes growing slightly red.

‘It hurts so much! Given such genuine pain, this body must truly be my own, Huang Xiu’s body!’ she concluded.
