Chapter 75: Mollru, Who Became a Villain

The party venue was crowded with people.

With such a diverse mix of guests, personalities varied just as much.

Among the streamers who had gathered, some claimed to be my fans, while others showed a particular interest in me.

“Uh… could I get your number?”

“Would it be okay if I got your contact info?”

“I’m Kang Do-hwan. My streamer name is Kepa.”

The problem wasn’t just the number of them—it was that most of them were approaching me with romantic interest.

Recently, my overall impression seemed to have softened.

According to those around me, the sharp and intimidating aura I used to give off had faded, making me appear much more approachable.

Whatever that meant.

Even today, my own teammates had immediately noticed the change, asking if something good had happened.

Ryu-ah had even said I seemed so soft and cuddly that she just wanted to hug me.

Apparently, whatever was shifting internally was also affecting my outward demeanor.

In short, I had become someone people found easy to approach.

It was nice not to be misunderstood at first glance anymore…

But at the same time, it led to situations like this—people I didn’t particularly want to interact with getting too close.

Take this guy, for instance.

He was standing in front of me, visibly shaking as he held out his phone, asking for my number.

Around us, murmurs of admiration broke out.

“Wow, he’s got guts.”

“Respect, man.”

“Now that’s confidence.”

And honestly? It was bold.

With all eyes on him, he was trying to ask out someone who could probably be classified as an S-tier beauty in the country.

Not that I cared.

I didn’t feel particularly happy or offended—just indifferent.

I had been through this so many times that it was starting to feel routine.

I also felt a piercing gaze from the side.

When I turned my head, I saw Ryu-ah standing with her arms crossed, looking… displeased.

Beside her, Tex, PapiJoah, and Cheol-woo watched the scene unfold with entertained expressions.

It took me a moment to realize something.

At some point, what had started as a casual gathering of my teammates had turned into an impromptu fan meeting—exclusively for me.

The rest of the team had conveniently stepped aside, drinking and enjoying the show while I was left to deal with the crowd.

This felt like some kind of unexpected one-on-one challenge mode.

And things were only getting weirder.

Among those who approached me, some didn’t just ask for my number—they confessed to me on the spot.

“Please go out with me.”

“Sorry, no.”

One after another, people began treating this like some kind of event.

“Can I have a drink with you? I lost a drinking game.”

“I like you.”

“Would you dance with me?”

From guys making excuses to drink with me, to random confessions, to sudden dance requests—

It was like an endless wave of challengers stepping up only to be rejected.

What was this, some kind of defense game?

By now, it wasn’t just our table.

Nearly the entire party venue had turned their attention to me, treating it like some bizarre spectacle.

What started with my teammates’ cosplay antics had somehow snowballed into a full-blown personal fan meet.

Still, in the end, I successfully defended myself.

“Phew…”

As the last person walked away, I slumped slightly over the table.

Meeting so many people in such a short time had completely drained me.

“You okay?”

“Yeah…”

“You must be exhausted. Here, drink this.”

Ryu-ah, looking concerned, handed me a glass filled with liquid.

My throat was parched from all the talking, so without hesitation, I downed it in one gulp.

“…#@!?…”

The moment the last drop slid down my throat, I felt something was off.

At first, there was a sweet fruitiness.

But as I swallowed, a distinct, lingering flavor spread through my mouth—one I recognized all too well.

This was… alcohol.

“Hey, hey! That was a cocktail! You can’t just give her something that strong like that!”

“W-wait… a cocktail? Not juice?”

Through my dazed state, I heard Ryu-ah panicking.

“Ji-eun, I’m so sorry! I thought it was just juice! Are you okay? Do you want to go to the restroom and throw it up?”

“…I’m fine. It’s not that bad.”

Since that disastrous late-night drinking stream, I had learned the hard way just how terrible my alcohol tolerance was.

I had completely avoided drinking since then to prevent another catastrophe.

Now, after so long without alcohol, my body was already sending warning signals.

Still, as long as I kept my mind clear, there shouldn’t be any major problems.

I’d stop drinking here, get some water, and step outside for fresh air—it’d be fine.

It was just one drink.

No way anything crazy would happen, right?

“I-I’ll go buy you a hangover remedy from the convenience store! Just wait here!”

Ryu-ah shot up from her seat, clearly flustered.

I grabbed her wrist before she could run off.

I was fine—why was she making such a big deal out of it?

“Hehe, don’t gooo~”

Looking up at her, I grinned.

It was meant to reassure her.

But for some reason, maybe because of the party atmosphere, I couldn’t help but giggle a little stupidly.

Ryu-ah’s face instantly turned red.

Her eyes darted around before she muttered under her breath.

“…This is bad.”

Twitch had organized this year-end party to celebrate its most successful streamers.

And somehow, Mollru—the streamer who had never done a face reveal—had become its biggest attraction.

As time passed, the party venue grew livelier, laughter bursting out from all directions.

The same was true for Jackie’s team’s table.

The only surprising thing was that the person leading the atmosphere wasn’t someone who usually took on that role.

“She’s completely gone…”

PapiJoah mumbled, looking across the table.

At the end of her gaze sat a woman beaming with joy, clinking glasses with a man who wore an awkward smile while holding his drink.

“Here, cheers~.”

“C-cheers….”

At the center of the table, a bright-faced woman raised her glass with the person next to her.

It was none other than streamer Mollru.

Her cheeks were tinged with a faint blush as she poured wine into her companion’s glass.

Her skin was so fair that the flush alone was enough to make it obvious—she was definitely drunk.

“Ugh…”

Tex, the man receiving the drink from Mollru, stared at his glass with visible unease.

At first, it had been a little overwhelming, but also fun and enjoyable.

Somehow, he felt like he was finally getting to know Mollru—this person who always kept her walls up.

It even made him smile at the thought that they had grown a little closer.

But that feeling didn’t last long.

How many glasses had he already downed from what she poured?

He had already had at least five, just from the wine glasses alone.

Being polite and accepting a drink or two was one thing, but at this rate, he was going to end up like them.

“Hehehe… Hehehehe. The world is beautiful.”

“Pika, Pika-Pikachu…”

Cheol-woo sat with a dazed grin, one eye barely open.

With his Frankenstein makeup, the sight was even more grotesque.

Beside him, Jackie mumbled nonsense in his sleep.

Considering that Mollru’s first target had been the heaviest drinker, Cheol-woo, Tex didn’t even want to imagine how much alcohol she had made him consume.

Tex swallowed hard.

If I drink any more, I’ll end up like that.

He was already at his limit.

His eyelids felt heavy, and warmth was creeping up his face—clear signs that he needed to stop.

He knew this.

But still…

“Why aren’t you drinking…?”

Mollru tilted her head slightly, wine bottle in hand.

She was beautiful.

Terrifyingly so.

And the words that followed were even more terrifying.

“Do you… not like the drink I poured for you?”

“A-absolutely not! No way!”

“Right? That’s a relief.”

Tex squeezed his eyes shut.

“Drink up, hehe.”

This is the devil’s whisper.

He knew full well that following this voice would only lead to ruin.

Yet, at this moment, he had no choice but to obey.

“Ugh…”

He gripped the glass, his hand trembling.

Was drinking this really the right choice?

Would he even be able to walk home on his own tomorrow?

Questions swirled endlessly in his mind.

And then—

Snap.

His thoughts were cut short.

A soft, pale hand gently grasped his shaking fingers.

Mollru held his hand with a radiant smile.

“Come on.”

She urged him as she slowly lifted his hand, raising the glass toward his lips.

The moment the glass touched his mouth, she let go.

Gulp.

Like a man accepting his fate, Tex swallowed the drink as if it were poison.

Mollru whispered in approval.

“One shot.”

Cough—cough!

Tex burst into a violent coughing fit.

Mollru gently patted his back.

“You were drinking just fine earlier. You shouldn’t rush it. Are you okay?”

Tex looked at Mollru and, as if resigning himself to fate, smiled faintly.

“Hehe…”

Mollru giggled back at him.

That was the last thing he saw before his head hit the table.

Thud.

“Huh…? Tex? Tex? Why are you like this? Tex?”

Mollru gently shook Tex, calling his name.

Across the table, two women silently watched the scene unfold.

PapiJoah and Ryu-ah exchanged glances as if reading each other’s minds.

Their eyes, trembling with fear, reflected a shared understanding.

But that only lasted for a moment.

“Tex must have been really tired…”

As soon as Mollru turned her gaze toward them, both quickly looked away, pretending as if nothing had happened.
