Chapter 78 Part 9: Exam

“Let’s make a team?”

That was the first thing I heard when I followed Amy into Victor’s dorm.

Victor’s gaze shifted to me, Rain, Shine, and Amy in that order.

“Really?”

Amy nodded to Victor’s words.

I looked around Victor’s room, which was my first time here.

A refreshing, yet cool, mint scent lingered faintly.

The exercise equipment placed all over the room sparkled.

Shine was struggling with the dumbbells Victor was using.

It seemed that she couldn’t lift the dumbbells Victor was using with her strength.

“You don’t want to send them to other teams, right?”

“That’s part of it.”

“I wondered what happened when a guy who likes to work alone suddenly said he was on a team.”

Victor let out a small sigh and sat on the bed.

The bare legs exposed under his shorts were covered in hair and looked hideous.

If I were to wear shorts too…

Me too?

I felt a strange sensation and rolled up my pants.

White, thin bare legs were revealed.

There was not a single ugly hair like Victor’s.

“What are you doing, Jeff?”

Shine, who was searching Victor’s refrigerator with Rain, approached me and asked.

“No… nothing.”

I hurriedly covered my bare legs from Shine’s gaze.

“Was there anything delicious?”

“Yeah.”

Shine nodded to my question and held out a large container.

A strawberry pattern printed on a white background.

It looked a little cute.

“What is this?”

“I don’t know.”

Shine put the container he took out of the refrigerator down on the floor and sat down in front of it.

Rain was still stirring Victor’s refrigerator, so only Rain’s butt was sticking out of the refrigerator.

“I’ll open it.”

I nodded to Shine’s words.

Shine carefully began to open the lid as if he was handling something dangerous.

“Euuuu.”

The lid shook as if it was about to open.

Shine, as if using all his strength, hugged the large container and began to push the lid.

Will Shine be able to open that lid?

I watched Shine’s appearance and looked at Victor and Amy.

Both of them seemed to be focused on each other’s conversation, not even looking at this place.

“Yup!”

Bam-!

At that moment, a small cheer burst out from Shine’s mouth.

Shine fell backwards, unable to overcome his own strength.

The white lid flew into the sky.

Pink powder followed it and soared into the sky.

Then, a slight strawberry scent wafted to the tip of my nose.

Pink powder scattered over Shine’s body, who was hugging the can and falling down with it.

Swish-

The pink powder that had risen into the sky poured down on my head, and I, too, became like Shine.

My entire body was wrapped in pink powder.

Blinking, blinking, Shine and I looked at each other and tried to figure out the situation.

“It’s delicious.”

At that moment, Shine stuck out her tongue and licked the pink powder around her mouth.

I also stuck my tongue out at her words and licked the powder off my hand.

I had put it in the fridge, so I was sure I would eat it.

The first taste was subtle.

It was cloudy but sweet.

The strawberry scent that followed was strong.

It was more delicious than I thought.

“What are you two doing…?”

While Shine and I were licking the strawberry powder, Rain came over holding a large bag in her hand.

“Rain, eat it too. It’s delicious.”

Shine handed Rain a handful of strawberry powder.

Rain, who absentmindedly reached out and took the powder, blankly stared at the two of us, then stuck out her tongue and licked the powder.

“Protein?”

“Come here and eat with me.”

Shine grabbed Rain’s arm and sat her down next to her.
