Dress-up Play (4/4)

Chapter 791,308 words11 min read

“Hum hum~”

Xun Xue’s lips curved almost up to her ears as she hummed a cheerful victory tune.

She carried the dazed blue-furred bundle in her arms as though it were her most precious treasure and slipped back into the small tent.

Xun Xue carefully laid Lu Qiancha down on the soft mat spread across the floor.

The instant Lu Qiancha left Xun Xue’s warm embrace, that intoxicating sense of safety and intimacy buried deep in her blood faded away like a receding tide.

Her mind, shrouded in mist like a lighthouse in fog, began to regain its light little by little.

Rational thought fought through the haze and slowly returned.

Yet the lingering resonance from that shared pulse had been too strong.

Her limbs still felt weak, and deep within her body remained a lingering warmth and lassitude that dulled her senses.

All Lu Qiancha could do was stare wide-eyed, her blue irises hazy with mist, as Xun Xue deftly and gently began to remove the thin blue outer robe from her body, followed by the inner layer beneath.

A cool breeze brushed against her bare skin, making her instinctively shrink her neck.

Then, even the final layers of defense did not survive.

Xun Xue’s warm fingertips moved with unyielding precision, stripping the last of them away.

Her smooth, pale skin—soft as the budding leaves of spring—was revealed completely beneath the tent’s dim light.

Finally, Xun Xue shook out a pink-and-white swimsuit adorned with delicate lace trim.

Her movements were quick and sure, carrying a hint of eager triumph.

She held the thin shoulder straps between her fingers.

“Swish!”

The swimsuit slipped over the dazed little wolf girl, wrapping her up piece by piece.

When Xun Xue’s cool fingertips brushed against the sides of her waist or the soft inside of her thighs—places that had never been touched with such care before—

“Mmnh…!”

The little one’s body arched involuntarily, a trembling whimper escaping her throat, mortified and uncontrollable.

Then Lu Qiancha gave a token, feeble squirm before once again collapsing in place.

In her daze, she eventually found herself fully dressed in that delicate, adorable swimsuit.

“Ta-da~!”

Like unveiling a priceless jewel, Xun Xue conjured a shimmering water mirror and suspended it precisely before Lu Qiancha.

In the mirror was a tiny wolf girl, dressed in a pastel pink-and-white one-piece swimsuit so cute it almost looked edible.

Her slightly wavy blue hair hung messily against her neck, soft and tousled like she’d just woken up.

Below that slender neck, the lace hugged her youthful curves and soft waist.

Further down, her smooth short legs were mostly bare, only covered at the very top by the fabric of the swimsuit.

Her toes curled against the soft mat, tense from the cool air.

Lu Qiancha’s small face was still tinted with a shy blush, as if painted with rouge.

The moment her blue eyes met her reflection, they widened like a startled fawn’s.

Then she quickly looked down, as if burned.

Her gaze fled from the embarrassed little face in the mirror to the frilly pink-and-white swimsuit that offered no sense of modesty at all—and finally to her bare, restless toes.

“See~ Isn’t it super cute?”

Xun Xue gently brushed aside a few stray strands of hair from her daughter’s forehead, her voice brimming with unconcealed pride.

“I told you! This swimsuit was made just for our little Qiancha!”

Lu Qiancha didn’t speak.

She stood frozen before the mirror, her emotions a storm of confusion—embarrassment so fierce it nearly overflowed, disbelief at how obedient she’d been just moments ago, and a faint, unfamiliar curiosity at seeing herself so clearly as this small, doll-like figure.

It was the first time she had ever looked so closely at her transformed self.

Though it felt slightly narcissistic… she couldn’t deny it.

She really was adorable.

“All right, go have some fun~”

Satisfied with her handiwork, Xun Xue looked upon her “masterpiece” with pure delight.

Raising a daughter truly was wonderful—you could dress her up, admire her beauty, and best of all, you didn’t have to give birth yourself!

“Oh…”

Lu Qiancha let out a low sound, pulling a Rejuvenation Pill from her pouch and tossing it into her mouth.

The pill dissolved into a warm stream, replenishing the spiritual energy she’d just spent.

She stepped out of the tent and activated her disguise.

The sea breeze had grown stronger, carrying a faint salty sting.

Beneath the illusion, the cool lace straps of the swimsuit brushed lightly against her skin.

Her paws instinctively tugged at the hem of the swimsuit’s skirt, trying to pull it down just a little more.

‘This skirt is way too short… What’s it even supposed to cover?!’

Fighting the urge to run back into the tent and bury herself under a blanket, Lu Qiancha stiffened her expression and forced herself to walk calmly toward the vibrant coastline where blue waves met golden sand.

“Senior brother! Senior brother!”

A bright, cheerful voice like bubbling spring water called out ahead.

When Gantang spotted Lu Qiancha, her eyes lit up brighter than the sand beneath the sun.

She dashed over, her light skirt fluttering as she ran across the warm, soft beach.

“Ahem.”

Seeing her approach, Lu Qiancha straightened her expression, forcing her tone to sound steady.

“Gantang, what’s the matter?”

“Senior brother,”

Gantang stopped before her, excitement sparkling in her eyes.

She stood on tiptoe and gave a playful spin, her sheer skirt swirling like a blossoming lotus.

Her cheeks were tinted pink with shyness and anticipation as she asked softly, “Does… does this look good on me?”

“It does. Elegant, lively—very fitting for you.”

Lu Qiancha smiled gently, nodding at her outfit: a pale cyan dress that shimmered softly like cicada wings.

“Hehe, right? I knew it!”

Gantang beamed, her smile radiant as sunlight.

“I spent all night picking it out yesterday!”

“What are you two chatting about so happily?”

A calm, graceful voice sounded from nearby.

Their master, Xuan Ya, had approached without a sound, a faint smile on her lips and warmth in her gaze as it drifted between her two disciples.

“Master!” Gantang quickly straightened up and greeted her sweetly.

“Greetings, Master,” Lu Qiancha said respectfully with a bow.

“No need for formality.” Xuan Ya lifted a hand gently.

Her eyes first lingered on her lively little disciple before naturally shifting to her elder one.

Her keen gaze immediately caught the faint stiffness hidden beneath the young man’s calm expression.

Xuan Ya’s brows lifted slightly as she stepped closer, her tone carrying a note of concern.

“Qiancha? Why does your complexion look so uneasy? Are you feeling unwell?”

“…”

Lu Qiancha’s mouth twitched.

Under the disguise, her real body felt utterly exposed to the air—like standing before her master and junior sister without a single thread of clothing.

No wonder her face felt so stiff.

Taking a quiet breath, she forced a gentle smile and said, “Please don’t worry, Master. This disciple is fine.

It’s just that the sea air is a bit damp and salty, unlike what I’m used to inland. My body’s merely adjusting.”

“…” Xuan Ya studied her for a moment, then the trace of worry in her eyes slowly eased.

She nodded slightly, her tone softening.

“Very well, so long as you’re fine.”

Still, her voice carried the calm authority of a senior’s care.

“If you feel unwell, don’t push yourself. This trip is meant for relaxation and enjoyment, not endurance. If you harm your health over stubbornness, you’ll only regret it later.”

Lu Qiancha bowed her head respectfully.

“This disciple will remember Master’s teaching.”
