The Fallen Angel Princess Armor—at last, it was mine!
“Hmph,” I mused. “Beyond its formidable defense and potent magic, this armor possesses an incredible, secret ability—one even Suriya is unaware of. If another person dons this armor, the sections it covers will allow them to share physical sensations with the original owner. This effect will last for an entire day.”
Once my excitement subsided, a smug smile involuntarily curved my lips.
My initial strategy had been for Beth Daisy’s subordinates to select a maid to wear the armor. However, Suriya’s unexpected obstinacy forced me to don it myself.
Yet, this was merely a minor detour, one that would not significantly derail my grand scheme.
I quickly dried my body with a towel, tidied my hair, and then draped a thick black cloak over the armor to conceal its scandalous nature. Turning, I made my way towards the War Council Hall.
“My apologies, Seth. I shouldn’t have lost my temper with you earlier,” I said, meticulously scrutinizing the ancient map of the dungeon’s second level spread across the large table in the hall.
“For Your Royal Highness to say such a thing truly humbles this old man. It was my own foolish rashness,” Seth replied, his demeanor as steady and respectful as ever. “Your Royal Highness’s wisdom and insight have advanced remarkably of late, leaving this old man struggling to keep pace.”
Ignoring Seth’s flattery, I pointed to a secluded chamber within the second level. “We shall choose this location then!”
“As you command. I shall relay the orders to Leo X immediately.”

Within a mere few hours, the entire dungeon, while seemingly unchanged, was in fact undergoing a monumental redistribution of forces.
All of this was orchestrated by me, the clever and charming Princess Coolie, with every detail meticulously planned and executed.
Wrapped in my thick black cloak, I sat in the spacious chair within the War Council Chamber. Seth, Beth Daisy, Suriya, and others watched alongside me as images flickered across the crystal ball. These visuals, as before, were brought by Suriya’s Blood Shadow Bats.
Upon entering the second level, the human Paladins had begun clearing the Eyes of Surveillance along their path. Yet, this only served to deepen their ignorance, for they remained blissfully unaware of the Blood Shadow Bats secretly monitoring their every move.
“Your Royal Highness,” Beth Daisy announced, “the decoy Treasure Rats, bred by the Maid Internal Affairs Department, have been released!”
“Mm.” I took an elegant sip of red tea, calmly observing the unfolding events. Everything was proceeding precisely according to my plan.
Beth Daisy continued her battle report.
“Princess! The Treasure Rat has been discovered by a human female warrior!”
“The human female warrior has slain the Treasure Rat! She has obtained the treasure it carried on its back! The treasure map we concealed among them has been found.”
I watched as the scantily clad, green-armored, brown-haired female warrior—Loynin, Heavenly Glow Kiori’s assistant—discovered the treasure map. A knowing smile played on my lips. Excellent, this was the ideal progression for the script!
Under our constant surveillance, Loynin predictably sought out Heavenly Glow Kiori to claim credit. Soon after, they convened a war council! Although Heavenly Glow Kiori was hesitant to create further complications, most of the other knights were unwilling to forgo the opportunity for riches presented by the treasure map.
Ultimately, Heavenly Glow Kiori compromised, agreeing to first seek out the treasure on the second level!
What followed was a fierce battle!
The Skeleton King had deployed a vast number of undead soldiers to guard the treasure. The closer one approached the treasure chamber, the more ferocious the defenses became!
This only further convinced the Paladins that an extraordinary treasure truly lay within.
And in truth, they weren’t mistaken.
The Fallen Angel Princess Armor was, arguably, the finest female knight armor below the level of a true divine artifact!
The Paladins and a multitude of skeleton soldiers and archers clashed in a furious battle. However, the human contingent was simply too powerful, especially with Heavenly Glow Kiori commanding from the center. Not only was she swift in her reactions and formidable with her sword, but she also continuously unleashed various faith-based light formations, greatly amplifying her allies’ strength.
Though the battle appeared intense, the human side suffered no casualties, while the skeleton soldiers were steadily depleted.
However, I found myself utterly uninterested in this grand conflict.
“Well, I’m going to take a nap.” With that, I departed the War Council Hall and headed to the adjacent resting chamber.
By the time I was roused, the human Paladin squad had finally, after enduring countless hardships, fought their way to the entrance of the treasure chamber!
As the last few skeletons were shattered by the powerful knights, the humans paid the price of two warriors and one ranger. At last, they breached the treasure chamber! Although the skeleton casualties outnumbered the humans by hundreds, the humans had by then expended a significant amount of their stamina, magic, and arrows.
Just as the stone door of the treasure chamber slowly began to open, I vanished from my observation post in the War Council Hall.
“Treasure!!! Hahahahaha!!!” A group of human knights excitedly rushed inside, only to freeze in stunned silence at the sight of the spacious, ancient, yet utterly empty treasure chamber.
“Humans, welcome to my dungeon—thank you for your patronage.” I stood in the center of the dozens of square meters of the empty treasure chamber, cloaked in a thick black garment.
Paladins, warriors, archers, and mages streamed in, surrounding me, yet maintaining a cautious distance, hesitant to make a move.
Everyone found it highly unusual to encounter such a delicate-looking maiden in these circumstances, and they had all heard the legend.
Beyond the stone door, a tall, graceful figure stepped into view.
She was silhouetted against the light, yet even so, the mature and captivating figure of a goddess could not be concealed.
Heavenly Glow Kiori. This was the first time I met her as the Dark Princess.
And in every sense, it was the first time she looked at me with such profound seriousness.
Our gazes met in that very moment.
