“No! I’m not here for you!” Dongyi’s face flushed crimson as she retorted with all her might.

She hugged her own cold body, glaring fiercely at Li Chunsheng as if he were an irredeemable pile of trash.

“This is all because of your despicable, shameless Authority! You’re the one who transformed me into this bizarre body! You’ve made it so I can’t attack you, yet I’m compelled to seek you out, like a cursed puppet!”

“Whoa, hearing you say that, I actually feel a little hurt,” Li Chunsheng admitted, scratching his cheek sheepishly, his gaze flickering. “After all, didn’t I save your life?”

This merciless exposure of her vulnerability made Dongyi’s cheeks flush crimson once more.

She decided to ignore the detestable man entirely, quickening her pace, almost breaking into a run to escape.

However, she had barely taken two steps when her body suddenly felt light. She was lifted into the air by an irresistible force, then, with a dizzying spin, she was roughly hoisted onto a shoulder.

“Mmph—!” The sudden sensation of weightlessness startled Dongyi, eliciting a short, sharp cry.

“You brute! Let me go!” Once she recovered, she immediately began to struggle violently, her hands flailing as she pounded against Li Chunsheng’s solid back.

“I’m not the kind of cold-blooded person who can ignore someone in need of help~” Li Chunsheng said, seemingly oblivious to her resistance, his tone as light as if he were carrying a sack of cotton. He strode forward, walking steadily towards his own apartment building.

“Let me go! You bastard! Let me go!” Dongyi struggled relentlessly, her legs kicking wildly in the air.

However, having long since passed her awakening burst period, her strength at this moment was negligible.

What’s more, that damned Authority suppression rendered her movements soft and weak, making them seem more like lovers’ playful banter.

As escape became hopeless, a profound sense of fear and humiliation swept over Dongyi.

In desperation, she could only tear open her throat, crying out for help into the empty street, hoping to rouse the nearby residents.

“Help! Somebody! Someone’s kidnapping an innocent girl—!”

“Shut up!” Li Chunsheng frowned, annoyed by her shrill cries.

With that, he unhesitatingly raised his free hand and brought it down hard on the two particularly shapely and full curves of her buttocks, which were prominently displayed due to her position on his shoulder.
