Overthrowing All School of Thought

Chapter 901,201 words11 min read

“Those assassins are from an organization called ‘Renaissance’. Have you heard of it, Your Highness?”

“No,” Morick admitted.

“‘Renaissance’? I think I’ve heard of it… Wait.”

Morick quickly took out some files and started flipping through them.

Although he had only seen it in some corner, or vaguely heard someone mention it, he didn’t pay attention to it at all, and didn’t take this organization to heart.

(Reyn’s intelligence is more closed off than I thought.)

Flora couldn’t help but sigh in her heart, and immediately said: “Then, what about the Night Stalkers organization?”
Hearing this, both of them were shocked.

“That assassin was from the Night Stalkers?”

Reyn immediately showed surprising courage.

“‘It’s the Night Stalkers?'”

Morick was even more shocked, and his movements stopped.

The reason was that the Night Stalkers organization was too famous.

As early as hundreds of years ago, when this land was still ruled by the Holy Alliance, the Night Stalkers organization was already created.

They were good at assassination techniques and mechanical technology, and their organizational philosophy was equality for all and opposition to lords attacking each other.

Therefore, they often guided weak lords to defend their homes, or simply assassinated lords to quell wars.

About a hundred years ago, with the establishment of the First Empire by the Faste Empire and the other six kingdoms, the Night Stalkers suffered a devastating disaster.

[SF Light Novel]

However, when the Second Emperor of the Third Empire took the throne and Overlord Hannibal rose, the Night Stalkers revived somewhat.

But twenty years ago, as His Majesty began to promote the “Heaven-Human Induction” ideology, many ancient organizations, including the Night Stalkers, were once again severely suppressed, and disappeared from then on.

However, anyone with culture who has read the Empire’s history will not be unfamiliar with this organization that has been active for hundreds of years.

Especially the leader of each generation of Night Stalkers, “Assassin”, whose assassination skills and mechanical technology were the best in the world.

He once relied on his own strength to almost rule this continent.

The Faste Emperor was almost assassinated by the contemporary Assassin…

Therefore, even though the Night Stalkers have declined, nobles still change color when they talk about Assassin.

Daphne was no exception.

(Even the Night Stalkers are preparing to attack His Highness… But what if their leader, Assassin, personally takes action? What should we do?)

Considering the mechanical technology displayed by the assassins who invaded the mansion, he became more convinced of this information, and his heart hung with worry.

“Yes, but don’t worry. After two major changes, these despicable guys are now just assassination organizations wearing the skin of ‘Night Stalkers’.”

Flora seemed very dismissive, “Whether it’s scale or belief, they are two completely different things from the chivalrous organization that pursued equality for all hundreds of years ago.”

As for the legendary Night Stalker King Assassin, he was not comparable to those assassin leaders last night.

“What is the relationship between the ‘Renaissance’ organization and the Night Stalkers?”
Daphne continued to ask.

“The purpose of the ‘Renaissance’ organization is to restore the continent to the time of the Holy Alliance, and the current Night Stalkers is just an affiliated organization under it.”

Daphne was once again surprised and opened her mouth wide.

One ‘Night Stalker’ was difficult enough to deal with, but the ‘Renaissance’ organization was actually the superior organization of the ‘Night Stalker’?

They still had to face a large number of enemies similar to the Night Stalker level?

Daphne felt her scalp tingle for a while, but she also remembered where she had seen the name Renaissance.

“I remember! Renaissance is a patriotic movement advocated by civilians.

They believe that the current social atmosphere has deteriorated, people’s morals are not as good as before, and culture has been destroyed.

Only by recreating the life, culture, and system of the past can we revive the past glory…”

“In other words, their goal is to eliminate the centralized imperial system and restore the situation of autonomous lords, parks, and kingdoms, right?”

Reyn interrupted Morick’s recitation.

“Yes,” Flora nodded.

Nobles… were all like this.

“In other words, I’m just a small target for them?”

Reyn couldn’t help but laugh.

Laughing with unusual annoyance.

After learning about the relevant information about the Renaissance, some things that he didn’t understand before suddenly became clear.

For example, he had always thought it was done by that old guy, but now it seemed that it was probably just a misunderstanding…

But this only meant that there were more people he had to eliminate, and it didn’t mean that the old guy was innocent.

The reason why Reyn had never heard of the Renaissance was that he didn’t have close contact with those middle and upper-class nobles who knew the inside story.

And the one who caused this situation was undoubtedly that damn old guy!

Not to mention that if he had the heart, that old guy could have directly told him, but that old guy didn’t do that.

Why?

Wasn’t it still to test him, to test whether he had the ability to obtain relevant information from other channels!

So he would encounter so many dangers.

Even if that old guy wasn’t the mastermind, he was indirectly the pusher! An accomplice!

That’s all.

After all, he was that old guy’s seed, and dirty blood was flowing in his veins. It wouldn’t matter if he died.

What Reyn couldn’t accept the most was that the old guy knew of the existence of the Renaissance, but he had to use the battle between the emperor and the founding emperor to make him a waste who couldn’t even protect his wife!
a waste who couldn’t even protect his wife!

“Go and investigate all the ancient families. Don’t miss those ancient famous families that have disappeared on the surface, and those nobles who were weakened in power and territory after being attached to the law.”

“Yes, sir!”

Morick immediately took the order.

Reyn adjusted his mentality slightly and looked at Flora.

(Is it coming?)

Flora couldn’t help but feel uneasy.

After discovering that Reyn was completely unaware of the Renaissance’s intelligence, she felt that the situation was going to be bad.

It was already amazing that her combat power was amazing. The Crown Prince didn’t know the information, but she knew so much… Was this reasonable?

She wasn’t just generally suspicious. It wouldn’t be too much to be suspected of being a member of the Renaissance.

Then why did she still say it?

Because this was a matter that endangered Reyn’s life and, to a certain extent, affected Reyn’s view of His Majesty.

She had to say it.

Moreover, deep down in her heart, she didn’t know why, but she really wanted to say it.

She wanted to know what would happen after she said it.

“Next time, just come and tell me what you think of. Don’t act on your own.

Don’t do such dangerous things again! This is an order!”

The black-haired boy looked very angry.

Flora’s heart was a little happy.

Although this joy was quickly submerged by the surging guilt, she would probably never forget this feeling in her life.
