Ambushed by Brothers

Chapter 94 • 674 words • 6 min read

Imagining how that scene must have looked to an outsider, I couldn’t help but feel a surge of shame.

Though deep down I knew it was for Xiao Qi’s life—there was no other way…

“How about it, Fox Old Fourth? What’s it like being carried by your Second Brother? Comfortable, huh?” Yang Laoer teased as he carried me down, then immediately activated his lightness skill and bolted away, all while not forgetting to mock me.

I shot him a glare, but couldn’t think of a retort right away.

After a moment of fruitless pondering, I decided to ignore him for now and instead focused on reviewing the details of the plan, checking for any loopholes.

Ah, it all started a few days ago at noon…

****

It was about three days ago.

As I mentioned, Senior Sister Xiao Ru had been so busy we barely saw her, so she’d been lax in supervising the four of us. And we were all lazy by nature.

Besides, Fox Xiao Qi had moved into Dorm 322, so someone had to stay with her every day to prevent any intelligence leaks or someone snatching her away.

That day I had no morning classes, so I slept until the sun was high before waking up to wash up. Naturally, breakfast merged with lunch.

Still half-asleep, I mulled it over as I drifted over to the boys’ dorm.

When I opened the door, I saw Second Brother Yang and Third Brother Linghu lazing around in the room—looked like they’d skipped their morning classes again.

When they saw me enter, those two rascals beamed.

Yang Laoer used his lightness skill to appear before me in a flash, grabbed my arm, and said, “Speak of the devil! Old Fourth, you’ve come just in time. Third Brother and I were discussing something. We can’t do it without you, and here you are! Come, come, follow me.”

With that, he dragged my dazed self stumbling into the dorm.

He then vanished somewhere.

Meanwhile, Linghu Ruoxu, usually so shy and honest, oddly fetched a stool, placed his hands on my shoulders, and pressed me into a seat.

Through my haze, I saw him smiling at me with an ingratiating, sycophantic grin.

Hmm… as the saying goes, “Those who are overly polite are either committing adultery or theft.”

Just as that thought crossed my mind, the door slammed shut [BANG], snapping me wide awake.

Looking over Linghu Ruoxu’s shoulder, I saw Yang Laoer returning, clapping his hands while walking toward me, a sinisterly ambiguous smile on his face.

So he’d gone to close the door…

Hmm… closing the door—’adultery or theft.’

Putting two and two together, with much clearer thinking now, I suddenly realized something:

It seemed, though I’d only joked about it before, now—gender-wise—I might actually be eligible for the “adultery” part.

W-Wait, does that mean… they… the two of them… were going to…

“W-What do you think you’re doing?”

The realization sent cold sweat trickling down my back, jolting me fully awake.

I looked around, only to find that Big Brother Guo, our usual savior, wasn’t in the dorm. Besides the two of them, there was only Fox Xiao Qi lying on Guo Hao’s bunk, watching the scene with a puzzled expression.

Sweating profusely, I stared at those two bastards before me, filled with regret and terror.

Regret because I cursed myself: ‘A grown girl like me, what business did I have coming to this den of men?’

Terror because they didn’t say a word but just grinned like thieves. If the authorities sketched their faces, they could be used as wanted posters!

I struggled to stand up, but without any martial arts, how could I match them?

After a futile effort, I resigned myself to fate, silently chanting, “It’s over, it’s over. This cutie’s chastity is going to be lost here, to these two lecherous fiends! Big Brother Guo, save me, save me!”

Seeing me finally calm down, they grinned even wider, their faces filled with utter lecherousness!
