The guy ‘Inquisitor’ is replaying what he did yesterday and explaining it, and it’s insane.

NewDimensionUser1: Take it to the streamer gallery

└LionIsStrong: No, seriously, watch it. It’s crazy.

oo: PVP is always the same. Isn’t it just about who brings the broken skills?

ᄂLionIsStrong: I thought that too, but it’s totally different.

【Title: Ugh, the guy who recommended that stream, you wanna die?】

【Author: ᄋᄋ】

I was shocked to hear a girl’s voice as soon as I tuned in, but then I realized it was a guy using a voice changer, and I almost threw up. I tried to bear with it since people said it was amazing, but there’s nothing at all. Screw you for recommending this.

NewDimensionUser1: Gay gay gay ᄏᄏᄏ

Cigarette: As soon as I heard it was a voice changer, I quit instantly ᄏᄏ

LionIsStrong: ᄏᄏ You believed it? I wasn’t going down alone.

(The Inquisitor Lene Stream.mp4)

[Here you can see that suddenly this inquisitor disappears with a ‘pop!’]

– I don’t get it.

[Well, anyway, with a ‘pop!’ he disappears, which means he used a backstab skill… so obviously, you dodge with a swoosh! and swish!]

What the heck does “swoosh! and swish!” even mean? ᄏᄏ

A-Taxia: This is giving me a headache, seriously.

└A-Taxia: Why is this guy even streaming???

Rimoten: At least explain it so we can understand…

NewDimensionUser1: He means that if you knew he used backstab to get behind you, you just need to dodge the attack and you’re good.

Loo: You should go to his stream and translate for us.

NewDimensionUser2: So, is that voice really a guy using a voice changer?

Loo: (Yes, confirmed.)

[Inquisitor Breakdown Stream]

[New Dimension | 15 viewers | 0:36:21]

After finishing the breakdown, the viewer count increased to 15.

Was it because I provided quality information?

I felt a sense of pride.

“Everyone, is there anything else you’d like to hear about?”

─We didn’t even understand the story you just finished.

“I thought it was basic, but was it too difficult….”

I guess.

No matter how simply I explain, if the levels are too different, it might be hard to understand.

Let me explain in more detail.

“Hmm, so to sum it up… when you sprint in New Dimension, you can go really fast, right?”

– “You’re running fast because you want to go fast, right, sir?”

“No, it’s not that… The speed you run in real life is different from the speed you run in NewD (the game), right? What used to be *shooook* becomes *shoo*. This is due to the system correction. So, it’s not about how well you use your skills, but how you move when you’re not using them. That’s more important.”

– “Man, someone please get rid of that annoying onomatopoeia.”

─ “Couldn’t you have just said the last part?”

“Hmm, I guess that’s true.”

Why is the response so bad? Earlier, the reactions seemed good, and I even got donations…

– “I didn’t understand half of what was said.”

– “What the hell is this guy talking about?”

– “Mararico, you lost to a guy like this?”

– “Does basic have a different meaning for me?”

– “What level is the advanced course even at?”

…Hmm. They were mocking me.

I got fooled.

Still, I didn’t feel entirely bad. Even if they were making fun of me, it seemed like they liked the stream since my follower count went up by 8 people.

─ “So, are you really a guy?”

– “Can you explain all the trolling you’ve done on the forums?”

Anyway, as the review stream ended, viewers started asking questions about me.

I felt a little bad to say this, but I liked how much more lively it was compared to when only Lainel and Moriarty were in the chat.

Though those two kept up steady chatting a few days ago, there were still moments where the chat would go quiet.

“Yeah, I’m a guy. I’m using a voice changer… And no, I haven’t trolled anyone. I don’t get why trying to convert heretics would be called trolling…”

― “Then are there any other cults besides the Elune cult?”

“Uh, well…”

Bringing up Iah’s name here wouldn’t be bad, but judging by the mood, I’d probably just get something like, “What the hell is that, you nerd?” So, it might be better to just smooth things over for now rather than provoke people.

“God is… inside your heart…”

─ “The Elune god is in my heart.”

“Looks like a heretic was hiding. You’re getting a 3-minute ban.”

– “Damn it.”

“Anyway, I’ve mostly finished the review… What should I do next?”

I thought it might be good to capitalize on the current mood and jump into some PvP, or maybe show off some diverse gameplay with the AOS mode.

I’ve already finished the weekly Tagirion raid…

As I was pondering, a rather unexpected suggestion popped up in the chat.

─ “Can you do something other than NewD?”

Moriarty said something similar in the last stream, if I remember correctly.

These people, aren’t they from the NewD (New Dimension) gallery?

I thought, of course, they’d want to see something from NewD.

But surprisingly, quite a few of them seemed to want something other than NewD.

Why on earth?

“Everyone, don’t you want to see NewD…?”

– Just keep playing PVP

– I came here to see NewD, though

– Why would people who play NewD every day also want to watch NewD on a stream?

Lol

About 70% wanted to see NewD, and 30% wanted to see something else.

The reasons for wanting something else were quite reasonable, too.

The ones who hang out on the NewD gallery usually live in a different time zone from normal people.

There’s no need for them to watch NewD-related stuff on a stream.

…But Tuni said that right now, it’s pretty easy to attract viewers just by playing NewD, so maybe I’ll play other games once I’ve established myself a bit more.

Okay.

“I’ll find a game that I can try later, something I like. For now, let’s stick with playing NewD a bit more….”

– Don’t you want to try ranked PVP?

Ranked matches, huh.

To be honest, I hadn’t really considered it up until now.

I just didn’t feel like getting all serious, competing with people, and climbing ranks.

But now that I’ve started streaming, ranked matches might make for good content.

After doing a little research, I found out that in gaming streams, even just having a high rank can draw some attention.

“……Ranked matches. Should I give it a shot?”

– You might hit a wall though

– Hitting a wall? That’s Mararico for you, lol

– Didn’t you crush even the B ranks? You really think you’ll hit a wall?

I heard that even just hitting A rank would put you in the top 5%.

Considering that the heretic, Maratang? Mararico? was B rank and had pretty decent skills, I figured A rank would definitely be more fun.

So, after deciding to make ranked PVP my new content, I changed the stream title and started matchmaking. A long queue greeted me.

[Lene]

[Challenging PVP Ranked Matches]

[New Dimension | 14 viewers | 0:45:13]

(2:13)

“It usually only takes 10 seconds to find a match in casual….”

Already, 2 minutes had passed just waiting.

– You probably haven’t even done your placements, so why’s it taking so long?

– If it’s this long before even doing placements, it’s one of two things

Then I saw a viewer’s chat catch my eye.

“Which two things?”

Just as I noticed and was about to ask why.

[Match found!]

The match was made.

Without hesitation, immediately accepted.

〔Nickname: Mararico | Class: Priest | Level: 32 | PVP Level: 50 | Rank: B〕

─Mararico enters the gallery, hahaha

Sigh… hahaha

─This has to be fake, right???

─The fact that you’re meeting a B-rank right from placements shows PVP is really broken.

“Huh?”

And then, what appeared was that heretic from yesterday.

Mararico decided to think of what happened yesterday as nothing more than a natural disaster.

Just like how sometimes there are things you can’t avoid no matter how hard you try, what happened yesterday was an unavoidable accident.

He resolved quietly to just think of it that way and move on.

Thanks to spreading hamburgers in the gallery, he received gratitude rather than criticism.

He had already noted down the IP of the “Heretic Inquisitor” as soon as the PVP ended yesterday.

Besides, that player doesn’t participate in ranked matches, so they wouldn’t cross paths again.

So, Mararico could laugh and move on, thinking yesterday was just an accident.

He had to.

But if Mararico made one mistake, it was this:

〔Nickname: Heretic Inquisitor | Class: Traveler | Level: 70 | PVP Level: 50 | Rank: S〕

He had forgotten the truth of the world—that something that happens once, can happen again.

“…Damn it.”

Bang!
